01The short version
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising tags, and nothing that follows you between visits or between sites.
That is why there is no cookie banner. A banner exists to ask permission for storage that is not strictly necessary, and there is none here to ask about. Adding one anyway would be a box to click for the sake of looking careful.
02What was measured
Rather than assert it, here is the check. Run against the live site on 2 September 2026, in a real browser:

The typeface is worth a line of its own, because it is a common way for a site to contact a third party without meaning to. Ours is served from our own server, not from Google Fonts, so reading this page tells Google nothing.
03What we deliberately do not use
None of the following are present in the site’s code. This is not a list of things we have configured carefully — it is a list of things that are simply not there:
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any Google tag
- Plausible, Fathom, PostHog, Matomo or any other analytics
- Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok or Reddit pixels, and any other advertising or remarketing tag
- Session recording, heatmaps or scroll tracking
- A/B testing or personalisation tools
- Live chat or support widgets
- Embedded video, maps or social widgets
The consequence is that we cannot tell you how many people visited this page. That is a real trade-off and it was made on purpose.
04The one third party, and only if you open the form
There is a single exception, and it is opt-in by action: if you open the enquiry form, your browser loads Cloudflare Turnstile from challenges.cloudflare.com.
Turnstile is a bot check. It replaces the puzzles that ask you to find the traffic lights — most of the time it decides silently and you never see anything. Its job is to confirm a person is sending the form rather than a script, so that the form cannot be turned into a machine for sending spam.
- It does not load on page view. The script is fetched the first time the form opens. If you read the site and never open the form, your browser never contacts Cloudflare at all.
- Cloudflare receives your IP address and characteristics of your browser in order to make its judgement.
- It sets nothing on our domain. That was measured, with the form open and the check complete — see the table above. Anything Turnstile stores is stored against Cloudflare’s own domain, and Cloudflare states it is not used to track people across sites or to build advertising profiles.
- It is strictly necessary in the sense the cookie rules use: it is there to keep a service you asked for from being abused. Storage of that kind does not require consent under the UK PECR, which is the second reason there is no banner.
What Cloudflare does with what it receives is covered by Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Their role in our processing is set out in our privacy notice.
05What would count as essential if we ever set one
For completeness, since this may change: some storage never needs your permission, because the site could not do what you asked without it. Keeping you logged in, remembering what is in a basket, holding a security token across a form submission and balancing traffic between servers are all examples.
Anything that is not in that category — counting visitors, measuring campaigns, remembering preferences for convenience, advertising — needs your consent first, and we would ask for it properly rather than assuming it from continued browsing.
06If this changes
If we ever add analytics or any other non-essential tag, three things happen at the same time, not one after the other:
- A consent banner appears, and it asks before anything loads.
- This page gains a table naming each cookie, what it does and how long it lasts.
- The privacy notice is updated to match.
Until then, the honest version of this page is the short one at the top.
07Controlling storage yourself
Nothing here needs managing, but your browser can block and clear site storage regardless — the settings live under Privacy in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Blocking everything may stop the bot check from running, in which case the form will tell you so and offer you an email address instead of leaving you stuck.
