01About these terms
These terms govern your use of the refyndata.ai website. The site is operated by Hamari Agency Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10713877, whose registered office is at 6th Floor, Regus, 120 Bark Street, Bolton BL1 2AX (“we”, “us”, “RefynData”). RefynData is a trading name of that company, not a separate one.
They are short on purpose, because the site does not do very much: you can read it and you can send us a message.
02Accepting them
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
03What this site is — and is not
This site describes what RefynData does. It is information, not an offer capable of being accepted, and nothing on it forms a contract between us.
In particular: sending the enquiry form does not buy anything, reserve anything or commit either of us to anything. If we go on to work together, that will be under a separate written agreement covering scope, fees, service levels and how we handle your data as a processor. That agreement will govern the work — these terms will not.
04Using the site
You may read the site, and share links to it, for any lawful purpose. You may not:
- Use it in a way that breaks the law, or that puts us in breach of any law or regulation.
- Submit the enquiry form automatically, repeatedly, or with details that are not yours to give.
- Try to get around the bot check, the rate limits or any other measure that protects the form.
- Scan, probe or test the site or its infrastructure for vulnerabilities without our written permission. If you find something, we would genuinely rather hear about it — email [email protected].
- Harvest content or data from the site by automated means, or use it to train a model, without our permission.
- Introduce anything malicious, or attempt to gain access to any part of the site, server or database you are not authorised to reach.
We may suspend access from an address that is doing any of the above.
05The enquiry form
When you send us an enquiry:
- The details you give must be accurate, and yours to give. Do not enter somebody else’s details without their knowledge.
- Do not send confidential information, and do not send sensitive personal data — health, ethnicity, beliefs, and the other special categories. It arrives as ordinary email. If you need to share something confidential, say so and we will arrange a sensible way to do it.
- We will use your details to reply. We are not obliged to reply, to accept work, or to give a reason for declining it.
What happens to the data you send is set out in the privacy notice.
06Figures, examples and customer quotes
The site shows sample catalogue data, quality scores, before-and- after comparisons and customer quotes. Read them as illustrations of the kind of result the service produces, not as a promise about yours.
- Figures are drawn from real work, but the result any particular catalogue gets depends on the data you start with — how many products, how complete the identifiers are, and how much of it can be found from public sources.
- Examples are anonymised, and product names and images belong to their respective owners. They appear to illustrate a format, not to suggest any endorsement.
- Nothing on the site is a warranty, a service level, or a guaranteed outcome. Commitments of that kind belong in a signed agreement.
We keep the site accurate but cannot promise it is complete or current at every moment, and we may change what it says without notice.
07Intellectual property
The site — its text, design, layout, graphics and underlying code — belongs to us or is used under licence, and is protected by copyright and other rights. The RefynData name and logo are ours.
You may view the site and print or download extracts for your own reference. You may not republish, sell, or systematically copy any part of it, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.
The site’s typeface, Bricolage Grotesque, is used under the SIL Open Font License.
08Availability
The site is provided free of charge and we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change it, suspend it or withdraw it at any time without notice, and we will not be liable to you for doing so.
09Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything here.
Subject to that, and because the site is informational and free:
- We provide the site “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, so far as the law allows.
- We are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything on it.
These limits do not apply to any separate agreement we sign with you for services, which will have its own liability terms.
10Links to other sites
Where the site links elsewhere, those links are for convenience. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
11Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice, and what the site stores in your browser — currently nothing — in the cookie policy. Both form part of your use of this site.
12Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the revised terms, so it is worth a glance if you rely on them.
13Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
